General Questions
There are several reasons:
- Arboriculture 101 is the original ISA Certified Arborist® prep course in the state of Texas (begun in 2005) and has been proven to increase exam passing rates.
- Dr. Watson was an Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer, and Adjunct Professor at Texas A&M University, where he conducted research on trees and authored and co-authored several articles in research journals and professional publications dealing with a wide array of arboriculture topics. He also taught arboriculture and urban forestry classes at Texas A&M for over 20 years.
- In addition to his academic career, Dr. Watson has worked in the public and private sectors in tree and landscape consulting and management for over 40 years.
- For existing credential holders, this course earns 32 CEUs from ISA, as well as credits from TDA, TCIA, and TNLA, and we submit them for you.
- You will be well entertained and well fed.
Registration Questions
You can register right up to the day of class. Discounted rates are available for earlier registrations, however.
Cancellations must be made in writing to info@StreamsideGreen.com. No telephone cancellations are accepted. Cancellations must be received 7 business days prior to the event start date for a refund of the amount paid, less credit card fees and an administration fee of $40. Registrations are transferrable.
Yes, we do! If you are planning to register 5 or more students in a single transaction, then please contact us about a coupon for a volume discount.
This is only used for administrative purposes, like contacting you in the event of a registration error or sending you a reminder if you have not otherwise confirmed your attendance. We do not solicit for your business via phone.
This is only used for submitting attendance records to ISA and other credentialing organizations for CEUs.
We do not currently offer On-Demand Classes, but are considering this as an additional option. Stay tuned!

Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Questions
We submit attendance records for the course within 1 week of class completion. It can sometimes take the organizations up to six weeks to post the credits to your account.
We submit to ISA, TCIA, TDA, and TNLA.
At the end of each day’s class, you can either click a QR code that will be provided on the classroom screen, or sign the CEU sheet at the back of the classroom.
